The full experience of San Miguel is not only visual but the sounds that accompany the visual perception: Right now I can here the birds in the tree across the street , traffic, a kaleidoscope of music from the passing cars, people talking, dogs barking and earlier the calls of roosters. All are part of the painting experience and the painting!

In the last week the weather got much cooler. About 80 degrees F and a bit cool in the morning and evenings. And some torrential rain at night. As I was thinking of how different this May 2016 in comparison with last year and working on the computer, I run across some last summer workshop photos. Here is one of them. I sure had a blast those 2 weeks of sketching and painting! Just completed a week workshop with two sisters who's travels brought them to Mexico. They wanted to fulfill their dream of painting together and learning new techniques. One a beginner the other an intermediate painter. This workshop was not on our schedule but we love to be flexible as much as possible. So we designed a workshop just for them and their painting goals. The results speak for themselves! What a delight to work with such talented and charming ladies!
