The 16ARTEN PLAYA, 3 times a week event on 16 St, between 5 and 10 AV.   Playa del Carmen, Mexico is canceled. The event included painters, sculptors and artisans. The event was canceled yesterday, we just found out hours ago. A new event started 2 weeks ago: Artist at Work! Mondays, on 22 St, between 5 and 10 Av in the big palapa next door from The Mayan Bistro, Restaurant of Hotel Aventura Mexicana! Have a glass of wine and meet the artists at work!

Some of you had a hard time locating the dates of the workshop. They are listed under Workshop Cost Page (Click on it), and now under it's own page: Workshop Dates And here they are also September Special Sept. 2-6, 2011 Oct. 6-10, 2011 Nov. 11-15, 2011 Dec. 2-6, 2011 MAX 12 participants (Recommended arrival 1 day prior, departure day after) The workshop will start with the basics of drawing, followed by incorporating drawing in your favorite media and ending with several on locating sessions. Instructors will focus on individual needs and participant's level of skill.
