When I decided to go to San Miguel de Allende for a spiritual, soul-filling journey, it made sense for me to seek them out as part of my experience. If you are looking to travel (or return) to San Miguel, you already know that it is a city filled with art and vibrant color. Cristi and Fernando provide their students with the opportunity to really observe and respond to the city's artistic soul. They offer "one painting a day" courses at extremely reasonable rates, especially as they provide all the materials, step by step instruction (tailored to your experience level), and you get to go home with your masterpiece! They are also amazingly flexible to your schedule. I decided to take five days of painting classes, and they created a program to meet my needs and desires. I learned SO MUCH from these trained artists. They both share a bright spirit and positive energy, and their love for teaching is second only to their love of painting. Cristi is very responsive to emails; when we were planning our session, I would receive responses from her within a couple of hours. Both Cristi and Fernando speak English very well, and they create a warm and inviting environment for the students in their classes. I cannot wait to return to San Miguel and to their classes, as they have become a part of what makes that city special. Their kindness and warmth matches that of the city itself.
