Two weeks intro to sketching and watercolor plein air

We love to receive our participants’ suggestions, and add new programs to our existing classes and workshops.
As some of you have mentions, one week of sketching and painting is not enough, since San Miguel de Allende has so much to offer. And one month may be a long time for some.
So we created a new 2 workshop.

This is ideal for beginner to intermediate artists who want to build the habit of urban sketching and plein air watercolor painting.

During the first week we'll focus on understanding the principles of sketching, then practicing it around town. We noticed that are many interested in sketching but all the sketch crawls are for individuals who already know how.

So we created an introductory program
to take the fear out of sketching.

Second week is focused on introduction to watercolor plein air. You will introduce you to the basics of watercolor, and then the rest of the week we'll paint out and about the studio.

The cost is $750 USD for the two weeks. Class meets 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
What is included for your use during the workshop: Watercolor paints, set of 6 brushes, pallet, and watercolor paper. We have a limited number of plein air easels available for rent at a cost of $10.00 per day.
What you need to bring/ also available for purchase: Sketch pad 11”x14”, several soft sketch pencils, sharpener, plastic eraser, sharpies.
