Our Teaching Philosophy: We employ a mentorship approach. Each participant receives individual guidance, one day to one month workshop participants. Abstract, realistic, expressionist or sketching all have equal importance in your development as a Sunday painter or a professional artist.

One Painting in One Day, in San Miguel de Allende

No Experience necessary
Do you love art, travel, Pre Hispanic culture? This workshop is for you! In only 4 hours you will paint your own  painting of Kinich Ahau, the Mayan Sun God. You’ll learn the basics of color theory and practice acrylic painting!
Bring your enthusiasm and creativeness, will provide the instruction and all the materials! By the end of the workshop you’ll have a very personal souvenir of Mexico, your own finished painting!
Great family or group fun cultural activity!

Workshop offered by request, with a minimum of 2 and Maximum of 6 participants.
Location: Cristi Fer Art Studio, San Miguel de Allende
Time: 2AM-6PM

Cost: $75 includes instruction and materials
Groups of 6 receive10% discount.
Instructors: painters Fernando Gonzalez and Cristiana Marinescu. We have over 30 years experience as professional painters.  We have offered workshops and private classes in US and Mexico for over 20 years. Cristiana is a former art instructor at several colleges in the Midwest.
